My Internship journey with IFORTIS CORPORATE, INDIA.

An amazing tale of learning experience and professionalism. I started my campus ambassador internship program with IFortis Corporate in the start of May,2021 and to be honest in my point of view,their set of tasks given in the project were more interesting.With one by one coming up,it was motivating to work with the dynamic team culture and ethnicity.Our guide for the program Wafa Mahin was fully supportive in clearing all queries by clear communication and made sure if it reached our end effectively.She was an enthusiast and efficient trainer enacted good leadership qualities.With clear understanding of set objectives,I was given the task of completing 8 sale within a week for the registration of STEP AHEAD, “India’s First & Largest Virtual School Fiesta” to be held on 26th & 27th June 2021.

As a marketer, a key understanding in the purchasing journey of a customer is to 1.Present the good/service to be sold 2.Explain why do they need it.These two main points are to be kept in mind before targeting potential customers. Understanding the customer needs and then presenting the product make it way easier in lead generation.To target customers,right set of database collection is required before initiating the process and filter out the main area of concentration to be emphasized on.In the start,every customer only gets an insight about the product/service we are marketing,but highlighting the Unique Selling Points(USP’s),they pay more attention.After giving clear cut information,one must always follow up to clear doubts and provide further information regarding the same.

In my journey, of getting clients to register for the online fest organised mainly for school kids,I started to target only the particular age kids starting from my family.It was easy to get the first sale,then the second and furthermore,since the word of mouth spreads always.To be noted,it plays an important role in the marketing process.Then I convinced my friends who have the potential capacity to showcase their talents.Finally also doing some outreach by posting messages on Whatsapp,Instagram story and LinkedIn.The only difficulty faced was to convince some of them to take part in an virtual event rather than on stage performers were reluctant at some point as live audience encouraged them more.This has impacted my daily life to give remainder that never loose any network as it is a vital role in some aspects.

We were also asked to make a report in the google excel wherein customer database,preparation,way of approach,objection and follow up details were provided to the company in a form of weekly format.This helped in setting out understanding of work done and analysis of it.Most appropriate way to educate the interns of their manner of topics covered.

The Sustainable Development Goals has enabled the business to attract and retain the best talent by creating a culture of conscious inclusion that fosters innovation and high performance. “The Youth Should Lead” by IFortis Corporate is Youth Leadership programme launched in 2020, explores how no one individual has the complete set of leadership skills. It enables youth to identify and reflect on their natural leadership style, personality and behaviours.These initiatives increase corporate awareness and brand identity among various range of people.

The Company’s Future goal: IFortis Corporate is stepping into Apparel Manufacturing Industry (Textile & Manufacturing Industry) with an ambitious mission to create more employment opportunity for the women & youth across India and helping them to become self-reliant with obsessive focus on the quality, worker’s safety & welfare, social responsibility and customer satisfaction.

To conclude my learning outcome for the given project was Sales Funnel, Marketing Funnel covered in the activities of past weeks.Not only did I learn to complete deadlines but also work dynamicity.As Frank Tyger would put it in his words “Professionalism means consistency of quality”,IFortis has never forgotten to maintain the latter throughout and I am overwhelmed to be part of their trainee.
